Peace Now

We have passed the time when violence reaped rewards. All must now concede all our life must be based on nonviolence.

From now on peace will prevail.

We is me and whoever reads

Of course I want readers and your comments as well.

I see this as transcendental journalism. We live in a fully ecumenical world.

News that ignores this is false.

This means journalism must stand for and defend the absolute equality of every living being.

This a revolutionary premise — essential to the making of a world that can thrive on a platform of tolerance, helpfulness, democracy, and non idolatry.

Ontological Values

I have no idea if there are among my Twitter followers or those who read here any who wish to think out loud about the power of two or three or more. But I am convinced that we develop common consciousness mostly by creating consensus around basic values, equality, tolerance, helpfulness, and democracy.

These to me are ontological values.

To elaborate, ontology is a selection of key terms that a philosopher will use to express what it means to be, with being understood as the very heart of what it means to exist, to achieve authentic personhood.

It underscores much that is central to all that will express the point of view to follow.

Triadic Philosophy is in a unique way, a people’s alternative to just thinking.

It is a way of thinking. It assumes that there are three stages in forming a useful thought. Three ontological words that are consistent from thought to thought. 1. Tolerance. 2. Helpfulness. 3. Democracy.

These describe the qualifications of any subject.

Tolerance should be the chosen character of all dealings as well as with oneself. Helpfulness. The posture of all actions should aim at helping. And one’s attitude should be universally democratic, honoring the sovereignty (freedom) of every last individual.

I have found this the best way to introduce any consideration in framing a conscious thought.

Since these terms describe our standards for action I simply assume that we understand that they lead to a basic commitment to a fourth ontological term: non-idolatry (worshipping of no individual or ideology.)

This is the hardest concept to grasp but the most obvious. Just look around for the variety, the diversity, the infinite character of persons who have identical finger nails with one except. Each unique diversity applies to every being despite race or gender of any other way we have of identifying a group. A group is a group. Period

We insist on this hard and fast definition. The intention behind various types is a given. The rest is mystery.

Mao, the Chinese leader who eventually turned his dream of world prominence into a bloodbath, was caught as all other global leaders in the trap of conquest and violence have been. A change of heart might have changed history.

The final, critical, step in the move past armament and war is a conscious global rejection of violence. We follow the poet John Keats. “Beauty is truth, truth beauty. That is all we know on earth and all we need to know. When we say this, consciousness advances as never before. So do we.
