Reincarnation is common we’re told
And you’d think so from all the narrations
But also what of just incarnations
Of Souls who crave Earth more than Heaven

Such Souls don’t rise they just wish to remain
To seek fantasies they have created
Time and again they may repeat this way
Blind to the LIGHT that is always a choice

Move on to Souls in the low-lying realms
Also caught in a cycle of lifetimes
Almost a lifestyle of endless return
Of desiring Earth more than Heaven

Upshot might be that reincarnation
Is more likely a matter of Karma
Many past lives could be the evidence
That establishes this as the pattern

A Spiritual journey up, up and up
May not involve all this urge to return
Souls have free will and can progress at will
And what is below they can help make above
