Glass half full Biblical literalism is on its last legs. The sin you say the world is amok in is the playing out of the information produced by spirits who are parts of souls and thus part of God. Insofar as the phrases K of H and K of G have meaning, they refer to indistinct but not unreal levels in heaven (the afterlife or hereafter) where spirits and souls are faithfully Christ Conscious here or there. This involves nonviolence, self love, love of one’s communities and love of all. The messianic nativist interpretation of Jesus is a harmful result of the very ill that Jesus addressed in teachings that survive in our texts only in part. Jesus has already returned and those of us who embrace a universal spirituality that includes all of life and every living being on the planet understand that the afterlife does contain levels that move in the direction of what the NT calls K of G and K of H. Anything that conflicts with unconditional love and freedom of choice is not what Jesus taught if present understandings derived from present communications are correct.
